This type of machine with vertical burners is ideal for use in slaughter systems where the swine are transported suspended from motorised chains. The machine is comprised of four vertical singeing ramps, with changeable direction so that the swine that is to have its hair removed, is covered better. These function on a gas air mixture and with a burning capacity of 1,600,000 Kcal/h.
Once the machine is started, the pilot burners of the four singeing ramps light, only in the presence of the platform sensors that indicate that the operator is not in the burner zone, the air pressure switch that ensures the minimum air pressure of the process fans and the gas pressure switch that controls the minimum and maximum pressure of the gas itself.
A special timer, operated by the entrance of the swine, delays the beginning of the burning process to centre the animal in the middle of the ramp. Another timer allows to select the desired duration of the process.
