The machine is primarily made up of two brushing shafts covered in whips capable of rotating at high speed.
Once the machine is turned on with the start button, the brushing rollers quickly begin to rotate, without splashes of water, awaiting for the animal which, as shown in the picture, arrives by means of motorised chains. Just before entering the machine, a mechanical whisker detector is activated by the pulley to which the animal is attached and the washing cycle begins. As soon as the detector is released, a timer starts its countdown, at the end of which, if a pulley has not passed in front of the detector, the valve that commands the shower is deactivated. The process is repeated as soon as another swine arrives.
On request the machine can be completed with a second brushing station equipped with brushes attached on the horizontally rotating shafts for a better finish in the area between the thighs of the animals.
